Monday 16 June

  • NFU President Tom Bradshaw is attending a Bovine TB Partnership discussion in London.
  • NFU Horticulture and Potatoes Board Chair Martin Emmett and the horticulture and potatoes team will be meeting with Minette Batters to discuss her profitability work and how to raise particular barriers and solutions that will work for the horticulture sector.
  • BAB Senior Policy Adviser Jenny Brunton will be in Bonn for SB62, the UNFCCC’s (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) Bonn Climate Change Conference with the Farmers’ Constituency.
  • NFU Sustainability Group Lead Jack Watts is speaking at the Westminster Food Nutrition Forum. This conference will examine priorities for land use in England.
  • PIP (Poultry Industry Programme) Chair Toby Kelly and NFU Poultry Adviser Tom Glen will attend the Poultry Industry Programme committee meeting alongside programme partners ABN to discuss progress to date and the upcoming alumni event on 11 July. 

Tuesday 17 June

  • NFU President Tom Bradshaw, NFU Deputy President David Exwood and NFU Vice-president Rachel Hallos will be attending the joint NFU and NFU Mutual summer reception in London.
  • NFU President Tom Bradshaw and NFU Deputy President David Exwood are meeting with Farming Minister Daniel Zeichner to discuss SFI.
  • NFU Vice-president Rachel Hallos is speaking at the EA’s (Environment Agency) revised National Framework for Water Resources launch event in London.
  • NFU Chief Poultry Adviser Aimee Mahony will attend a roundtable meeting on planning with Farming Minister Daniel Zeichner in London.
  • NFU Livestock Board Chair David Barton and NFU Cymru Livestock Board Chair Rob Lewis will be meeting online with the chairs from NFU Scotland and UFU to discuss key policy issues.
  • The Potato Policy Group meeting is taking place on farm.
  • All the UK livestock teams from the four devolved farming unions are meeting virtually.

Wednesday 18 June

  • NFU President Tom Bradshaw is attending the veterinary roundtable, organised by the NFU, the BVA (British Veterinary Association) and the BCVA (British Cattle Veterinary Association).
  • NFU Vice-president Rachel Hallos is attending the Lincolnshire Show.

Thursday 19 June 

  • NFU Deputy President David Exwood and NFU Cymru President Aled Jones will be in Brussels for the Copa Cogeca Praesidium.
  • NFU Vice-president Rachel Hallos is hosting a visit focusing on organics on John Alpe's farm. 
  • The Food Business Unit is hosting an NFU Roundtable on hospitality in our London office. Thought leaders, trade bodies and key businesses have been invited to discuss future menu trends, sustainability and opportunities for growth, and, crucially, how farmers and growers can be best placed to respond to the opportunities.
  • NFU Poultry Board Chair James Mottershead and NFU Poultry Board co-opted member Jonty Hay will be attending the Red Tractor Poultry Board meeting.
  • NFU Chief Renewable Energy Adviser Dr Jonathan Scurlock is participating in the second of three invited roundtables on the , with former Shadow Minister Alan Whitehead.
  • Countryside Adviser Poppy Sherborne is attending the Natural England National Beaver Forum meeting in Devon.
  • NFU Chief Poultry Adviser Aimee Mahony will be attending the weekly Avian Influenza Core Group meeting with Defra and the APHA.

Friday 20 June

  • NFU Deputy President David Exwood and NFU Cymru President Aled Jones will be in Brussels for the Copa Cogeca Praesidium.
  • NFU Chief Poultry Adviser Aimee Mahony will be hosting the new Chief Executive of BEIC (British Egg Industry Council) at NFU HQ, Stoneleigh.
