  • NFU Deputy President David Exwood is meeting with the FCN (Farming Community Network).
  • NFU Deputy President David Exwood is meeting with the RPA (Rural Payments Agency).
  • NFU Chief Environment Adviser Diane Mitchell is attending the Defra Flood Resilience Taskforce.
  • NFU Crops Board Chair Jamie Burrows is attending the Copa Cogeca working party on cereals and oilseeds (online). He will discuss this year’s harvest, alongside trade and gene editing.
  • The National Drought Group is meeting.

Tuesday 16 September

  • NFU President Tom Bradshaw is meeting with Efra Committee member Helena Dollimore MP (Labour, Hastings and Rye).
  • NFU policy leads are attending a roundtable in the House of Lords on the dual use of antifungals in medicine and the environment.
  • The chairs of the UK Farming Unions’ (NFU, NFUS, UFU and NFU Cymru) livestock boards are meeting online to discuss topics including split gas accounting, animal health and trade.
  • NFU Chief Environment Adviser Diane Mitchell, NFU Chief Economics Adviser Rohit Kaushish, NFU Senior Countryside Adviser Claire Robinson and NFU Countryside Adviser Poppy Sherborne are speaking to NFU Mutual about natural capital markets.
  • NFU Horticulture and Potatoes Board is sitting.

Wednesday 17 September

  • NFU Deputy President David Exwood is attending the WTO (World Trade Organisation) Public Forum in Geneva.
  • NFU Poultry Board is sitting.

Thursday 18 September

  • NFU President Tom Bradshaw is attending NFU Shed Talks LIVE: Rooted and Resilient.
  • NFU Deputy President David Exwood is speaking on the panel ‘Data Secured Farmers-to-market Connection via Digitalisation' at the WTO Public Forum in Geneva. 
  • NFU Environment Policy Adviser Philippa Arnold and NFU Food Business Relationship Adviser Charlotte Nott will be providing evidence to WRAP's (The Waste and Resources Action Plan) research to better understand on-farm food loss, food waste and food surplus in the UK.

Friday 19 September

  • NFU Nutrient Management Specialist Charlotte Allen is attending the Environment Agency’s National Bathing Water Group meeting.
