Following the issues identified in the Rock Review, Defra has released a call for evidence from tenant farmers through the organisations that represent them.听
This meeting invited tenant farmers to discuss the extent and nature of poor practice within the tenanted sector, evaluate existing complaint and dispute mechanisms and discuss whether there is a role for a Tenant Farmer Commissioner to oversee the sector.听
Chaired by NFU Vice-President David Exwood, the event featured NFU Senior Rural Surveyor Louise Stapes and NFU Land Management Adviser Eleanor Griggs.听
