Local Nature Recovery Strategies (LNRS) are locally led plans mandated by the Environment Act 2021. Their aim being to recover nature and improve the environment by focusing on actions with the greatest impact. These strategies will cover the whole of England to create a Nature Recovery Network across the country.Ìý
The Warwickshire LNRS is entering its final stages, and it is imperative that farmers and landowners have the opportunity to engage and feed into the process. To enable this, there are a series of events being held across the county. They will cover:
• Ìý ÌýWhat the LNRS is and how will it be used
• Ìý ÌýWhy it is important for farmers and landowners to engage with the consultationÌý
• Ìý ÌýUnderstanding the maps created and checking for farm accuracy
• Ìý ÌýHow to feed into the relevant aspects of the consultation
• Ìý ÌýWhat you would like from the LNRS and what help you would need to deliver it
This is an important document likely to shape future plans, and we encourage you to attend one of the events to better understand it, ask questions and input your information. Ìý
