Red Tractor has issued a statement today, welcoming the review, alongside responses to the 9 strategic themes and 56 detailed recommendations.
The Board 鈥� comprising farmers, NFU, AHDB, retailers, processors and independent experts 鈥� has committed Red Tractor to a wide-ranging programme of improvements.鈥�
Red Tractor has said its response acknowledges 鈥渄eep frustrations鈥� expressed by producers, and welcomes the review as an opportunity to 鈥渞eset鈥� that relationship.

Following the news, NFU Deputy President David Exwood said: 鈥淭he sector boards have been instrumental in shaping the Red Tractor response to the Farm Assurance Review and their input is greatly appreciated.
