Intended as a roadmap for government on how they can lay firm foundations for a sustainable and profitable future for agriculture, the NFU鈥檚 鈥�A Mission for Farming: Our Blueprints for Growth鈥� details how British farming can contribute to the government's missions.
These foundations will ensure a safe, healthy and affordable supply of British food.
Today saw 47 civil servants from across 7 Whitehall departments welcomed to the NFU鈥檚 London office by NFU Director General Terry Jones and Policy Director Andrew Clark to hear more about the blueprints.

Strong working relationship
The event provided civil servants with an opportunity to meet policy leads who are the authors of the blueprints and hear about the 206 policy asks contained within them, and created the basis for constructive discussions for the months ahead.
