British food systems in the global context

With climate change making many global growing areas too hot to grow food successfully in the future and many international food growing regions ravaged by torrential rain or drought, what role should UK food production play to feed 9 million people?
Is the huge amount money made by companies that produce ultra processed food making it difficult for the general public to make better food choices? How do we, as farmers compete with their advertising budget to help promote our raw produce as the healthier option?
How can we communicate these great messages to more people?
How can UK farmers produce more food, sustainably, ethically and environmentally, on an ever-shrinking land area that's constantly being built on?
Is it fair to say that in todays food system world, price trumps sustainability volume of supply trumps provenance and quality traits convenience trumps health and nutritional benefits and it will always be thus for the vast majority and suggestions of change is little more than hot air and a wave to the chattering classes?
