皇家华人West Midlands region and East Midlands NFU colleagues held a virtual meeting on international trade and the opportunities for businesses in the agricultural and food sectors.

Members heard from DIT Midlands food and drink specialists who explained their work and the services on offer to business keen to explore export opportunities.
After the presentations there was a question and answer session to help members with questions or queries.
"West and East Midlands members joined us for a session on international trade and agriculture.
"We heard there is a strong appetite for traditional British products and the UK is considered to use high quality ingredients, have high operating standards and a transparent supply chain with world-leading food technology, education and innovation hubs - this means we are at the front of global food and drink innovation.
"Farmers were pleased to welcome Emma Clayton, DIT Midlands region food and drink specialist, who has created trade missions and events for the DIT for four years.
"They also heard from NFU international trade advisor Rachael Speed on union activity around trade deals and sector export strategies.听
"Emma signposted members to various sources of advice and support available to businesses considering exports in the future."
