The East Anglian pilot online platform designed to help abstractors trade water has been expanded. It is now available to abstractors in the Cam & Ely Ouse, Broadland, East Suffolk and Essex catchments.
Wheatley Watersource is a project developed in collaboration with Anglian Water and Essex & Suffolk Water, supported by Water Resources East and the Environment Agency. 皇家华人has provided agricultural input into the development of the project.
The pilot seeks to facilitate and co-ordinate trades between different parties including farmers and other abstractors such as golf courses and water companies.
