NFU members have been clear that they want personalised and relevant communications from the NFU about the important issues that affect them and their farm businesses.
They’ve also said that, sometimes, too much information is sent to them, often repeated, which can make them feel bombarded.
»Ê¼Ò»ªÈËhas listened to this feedback and will be making some changes, due to kick in at the start of June 2025. In short, the NFU will cut out duplication across our emails, sending out tailored and highly-focussed newsletters but with less frequency.
What will change?
Throughout, members will be able to be in control of what they receive and when through our preferences centre on »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË. Simply subscribe to what you want and unsubscribe from what you don’t want.
Members will continue to get their weekly Bulletin email with a round up of all the information and updates they need to know. We’ll be looking at the best time to send this, so keep an eye on your inbox if you don’t see it on Wednesdays.
NFU South, North, Midlands and East email newsletters will move from being weekly to monthly. Members will receive an update from their County Adviser along with bespoke local and regional information from the NFU.
Our Group Offices will continue to send out emails to members, but these will now all be compiled into one handy weekly email.
And, when your NFU benefits and services are updated, we’ll be in touch to explain how you can make the most of these exclusive offers.
Finally, you’ll still receive your invites to online NFU meetings via email if you choose to register for them.

Why are my emails going into spam?
Multiple factors influence why different email clients, such as Outlook, Gmail, Apple mail, and Google android to name some of the most popular, may be filtering legitimate emails into your spam.
As scammers become more sophisticated with their spam emails, email service providers are constantly improving and changing how they detect issues with emails before they even land in your inbox.
Mark the NFU as a saved contact
All of the NFU’s emails are sent from the same domain: @nfu.org.uk.
You can ensure your NFU email doesn’t accidentally get sorted into your spam folder by saving NFU Bulletin to your email contacts.
You can usually do this by selecting the email address on the email itself which will prompt a list of options, one of which will be ‘add to contacts’ or ‘add to address book’.
Alternatively, you can navigate to the email in your spam folder and either move it to your inbox or mark it as ‘not spam’. This tells your email provider that this is from a sender you want to receive communications from. Your email provider will continue to learn how to filter your email based on your behaviour.
